In kitchen design there is a trend (if you can call it a trend after a decade) towards stainless steel and slate appliances, however white appliances can still work great with new kitchen cabinets. Pictured below, we have a custom vintage style kitchen cabinetry in emerald green with a rubbed distressed finish paired with a white counter (Caesarstone Ocean Foam) and a dark distressed island. Here it works because the two whites are in harmony, in that one doesn’t make the other look off in it’s colour. You really need to bring the counter and cabinetry samples into your home to see if this will work. Do not be afraid to ask trusted sources to look at this before you make a decision – some are just more gifted in seeing if the tones are going to work.
